What information do we collect?
We collect what you send us: your name, email address, business name and any phone number you choose to give, plus the details of your enquiry, your logo files and any design picture made in Design Your Packaging. If you message us on WhatsApp or the live chat, we keep that conversation.
Why do we use it?
We use your details to reply to you, prepare your quote and proof, make and deliver your order, and handle any reprint or refund. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for unrelated marketing.

How long do we keep it?
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 24 months. Order records are kept for as long as UK tax rules require. Approved artwork is kept so you can reorder, and we delete it if you ask.
What rights do you have under UK GDPR?
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we handle your data. To make a request, email info@thefoodpackaging.co.uk.
Does this website use cookies?
The site uses no advertising cookies. The live chat window and the quote forms only process what you type into them, so we can reply to you.
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages are read and where visitors get stuck. They set analytics cookies and record page views, clicks and scrolling, not the details you type into a form. You can block them with a browser extension or by refusing cookies in your browser settings.

No. We email you about your enquiry and order, and nothing else unless you ask.
Can I ask you to delete my data?
Yes. Email info@thefoodpackaging.co.uk and we delete what we are not legally required to keep.
Do you store my logo after the order?
Yes, so you can reorder easily. Ask and we delete it.
Is my data kept in the UK?
Some of the email and messaging services we use may store data outside the UK, with safeguards required by UK data protection law.
What happens to my WhatsApp messages?
They stay in our business WhatsApp account so we can refer back to your order. Ask us to delete them at any time.
Does the live chat record what I type?
Yes. The conversation is stored so our team can follow up on your question.
Who is responsible for my data?
The Food Packaging is responsible for the data you send through this website, by phone, email and WhatsApp.
How do I make a data access request?
Email us and say what you want to see. We reply within the time UK law allows.
